These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.Matthew 15:8-9
This post is an update to the article, Mud Slinging In The Church Is Real, posted several hours ago. Below is possibly the reply from the pastor who uploaded the derogatory remarks he made on his Facebook post which, I believe, came from his heart in response to his earlier remarks. Correct me if I am wrong. Here’s the snapshot of his reply about 2 hours ago:-
If you read the context of his public statement, you can conclude the salient points of what he is trying to say:-
- He claims that those who work against him are doing it out of JEALOUSY.
- He claims others are STIRRING TROUBLE for him.
- He claims the people against him are of THE DEVIL.
- He claims those who work against him are in DARKNESS, and he is the light.
- He claims his enemies will soon FALL AT HIS FEET & confess before him.
- And finally, he warned his enemies, GOD WILL FIGHT THEM, just wait and watch.
Members of my ex-church would be able to instantly notice the stark resemblance of the facts of this case with what happened in my town two years ago. Someone will always accuse the other party; he’s the devil. Someone will always claim the other party is jealous at them. And it does not stop there, soon the pastor will be doing exactly the same things as what our pastors did before, praying in groups, pleading for God to help them fight their perceived enemies and to ward off imaginary evil spirits they think is haunting them. Or perhaps, some false prophets will start appearing at his church and start speaking things into existence for him. Or some guy from the West will join in the fun of rebuking others without first analyzing the facts of the case.
Such cases in every false church WILL ALWAYS BE SIMILAR AND IDENTICAL to one another, because everyone still caught up in darkness, knowingly or unknowingly, THEY DO THE SAME THINGS; they blaspheme against God and the Holy Spirit and they call what is good as evil and what is evil as good.
I have only this to say; these are men who profess only with their mouths that they believe in Christ, honoring Him only with their lips (Matthew 15:8). To them, because God’s laws are no longer relevant, therefore they know not the Law, and because they know not God’s law, they would not have known between what is right and what is wrong, according to how things have been ordained by God since Eden.
Hence, this pastor made up his own laws; that those who opposes him, are the ones from the devil, and therefore by his own wry logic, the people who oppose him are the sinners and that he, the pastor, is the righteous one in God’s eyes. As it is written in Matthew 15:9, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.
So what is this pastor going to do next; to call for judgment against his perceived enemies for calling out that public shaming in the churches is wrong?
Meanwhile, I’ll do as he commanded, I’ll BE STILL and WATCH how God is going to fight. Have a nice weekend. God bless.
